Product introduction

Telvas LNC 40mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet is a three-in-one combination medicine used to manage high blood pressure when one drug alone does not control it well. By bringing raised blood pressure down, it lowers the long-term risk of heart attack and stroke. It is best taken with food and, wherever possible, at the same time each day to keep steady levels in the body and make it easier to remember.

Storage: Store below 30°C.

Uses of Telvas LNC Tablet

  • Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), especially when a single medicine is not enough

Benefits of Telvas LNC Tablet

This tablet works on several fronts to bring blood pressure under control. It relaxes and widens the blood vessels so blood can move through them with less resistance, and it helps the body clear away excess fluid and salt. Together these actions lower the strain on the heart and reduce the chances of serious problems such as heart attack and stroke. Taking it consistently, even on days you feel completely well, gives the best protection.

How Telvas LNC Tablet works

Telvas LNC combines three actions. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB); both relax and widen blood vessels. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water pill) that helps the body remove extra water and salt through urine. The combined effect lowers blood pressure more effectively than any one of them alone.

It can disturb the balance of salts such as potassium in some people. Your doctor may order occasional blood tests to keep an eye on these levels.
