Product introduction
Montek LC Tablet combines the antihistamine levocetirizine with the leukotriene blocker montelukast. It is prescribed for allergic rhinitis, a condition in which the nose reacts to allergens such as dust, pollen or pet dander with sneezing, a runny or blocked nose and itchy, watery eyes.
Storage: Store below 30°C, away from moisture and out of reach of children.

How to use Montek LC Tablet
Take one tablet once a day, usually in the evening, with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Swallow it with water and do not take extra doses, as higher amounts do not work better and can increase side effects.
How Montek LC Tablet works
Levocetirizine blocks histamine, the chemical messenger that triggers sneezing, itching and watery eyes during an allergic reaction. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, which cause swelling and congestion in the airways. Together they relieve both the itchy and the blocked-nose symptoms.
Substitutes for Montek LC Tablet
These medicines have the same composition (Levocetirizine (5mg) + Montelukast (10mg)) and can generally be used as alternatives. Always confirm with your doctor or our pharmacist before switching.
