How to use Flucos Gel
Flucos Gel is for use on the skin only. Wash and dry the affected area first, then spread a thin layer of the gel so it covers the infected patch and about an inch of the healthy skin around it, rubbing it in gently. Wash your hands afterwards unless the hands are the area being treated. Keep it away from the eyes, nose and mouth, and rinse well with water if it gets there. Do not cover the area with a bandage unless your doctor says so. Keep using it for the full period your doctor has advised, even if the skin looks better sooner.
How Flucos Gel works
Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine. It blocks the fungus from making ergosterol, a substance that fungal cell walls need to stay intact. Without it the cell membrane breaks down, and the fungus can no longer survive or spread on the skin.
