Product introduction
Corbis 2.5 Tablet contains bisoprolol, a heart-selective beta blocker. It is prescribed for long-term control of high blood pressure and angina, and to help protect the heart.
Storage: Store below 25°C, away from moisture and direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children.
Uses of Corbis 2.5 Tablet
- Treatment of angina (heart-related chest pain).
- Prevention of heart attack.
- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).
Benefits of Corbis 2.5 Tablet
Bisoprolol lowers the heart rate and the force of each heartbeat, so the heart works less hard and needs less oxygen. This helps control blood pressure, reduces chest pain episodes and lowers the risk of heart attack. Because it acts mainly on the heart, it tends to affect the lungs less than non-selective beta blockers.

How Corbis 2.5 Tablet works
Bisoprolol blocks beta-1 receptors in the heart, which are the targets of adrenaline and similar stress hormones. This slows the heart rate and reduces how hard the heart contracts, so blood pressure falls and the heart's oxygen demand drops.
