Product introduction
Betnovate N Cream combines two active ingredients, betamethasone and neomycin, to treat inflamed skin conditions where a bacterial infection is also present. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching, while neomycin is an antibiotic that works against the accompanying infection. Together they are prescribed for eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis that has become infected. Since it contains an antibiotic as well as a steroid, doctors usually limit its use to short courses.
